Information I Collect

This is a personal, non-commercial portfolio website. I only process the minimum data needed to run it.

• Server log files: When you visit, my hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system — used only to deliver and secure the site.

• Contact form: If you use the contact form, the name and e-mail address you enter are sent to my mailbox so I can reply. Nothing more is required.

• Cookies: Only strictly necessary storage (your cookie choice) is used by default. No analytics or marketing cookies are set unless you opt in via the cookie banner.

Legal Basis

I process server logs on the basis of my legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); contact-form data on the basis of your consent and my interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)); and optional cookies only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TTDSG).

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use it, but only after you actively opt in via the cookie banner. If you decline or haven't made a choice yet, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set. This site does not use advertising networks or social-media tracking pixels. Fonts, scripts, and icons are served from this site's own domain — there are no calls to Google Fonts or other third-party trackers.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., which stores the data above on its servers on my behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

Data Retention

Server logs are deleted by the host after a short period. Contact-form messages are kept only until your enquiry is handled, unless a legal retention period applies.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, e-mail onder@ondermutluer.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for Bavaria is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.

This site links to external services such as LinkedIn and to third-party articles. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The current version always appears on this page with its date.
